First bite
Sweet, sweet sauce. Joe didn't want to call it ketchup, but it was getting borderline on the sweetness.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Right in between thin and medium. The back crust is good.
- Sauce: Too sweet for Joe, and the thing that brings the pizza down.
- Cheese and pepperoni: Solid.
What would make it better
Dial back the sweetness in the sauce and bring the toppings to the edge.
The verdict
It was hard for Joe to get past how sweet the sauce is. He gave it a 6.8, but for that price, if you're in the area, it's not too bad.
