The order
Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni for $20.65, and it's a 17-inch, not 16 or 18. The box is heavy, and some of the pepperoni got pushed down into the cheese.
First bite
Super cheesy, like all-time cheese. It felt like double cheese, and it was a little light on the cook underneath.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Tastes good but was light on the crunch. It needed more time in the oven.
- Sauce: On the sweeter side.
- Cheese: If you've ever said you want more cheese on a pizza, this is the place. Joe said it reminded him of La Nova at almost half the cost. Two slices will slow you down for the evening.
What would make it better
More cook. With this much cheese, Joe thinks a longer bake would put it in the eights.
The verdict
It's heavy, it's got good flavor, and Joe likes it, but he'd really like it if it was cooked more. He gave it a 7.4 and would love to see it again with more time in the oven.
