Strikers Lanes Review – West Seneca, NY
score
Strikers is a sports bar and grill inside a bowling alley on Michael Road in West Seneca. Zach Dudziak recommended it on review.pizza.
The order
Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni for $22.30. It sat for about five minutes before he got it, so it had cooled a little, but that made it easier to handle.
First bite
A big Buffalo slice with some nice browning underneath. Medium thickness, saucy and cheesy, with good distribution.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Pillowy and soft. Joe figured it's made in house.
- Sauce: Nice, with a little bit of herbs.
- Pepperoni: Nice and crisp. Some people will think it's burnt, but this is what cup and char is supposed to look like.
What would make it better
Joe would like the spicy cup and char, and for his taste, a little more cook, though plenty of people would like it just this way.
The verdict
You can tell it's a regional thing. These pizzas are similar to each other, and this one holds its own. Joe gave it an 8.3 and called it a delicious pizza, especially for the price.
