The order
Joe ordered a large 18-inch cheese pepperoni for $22.88, though he thought it might be a 16-inch in an 18-inch box. The cup and char was well distributed and charred nicely.
First bite
Dripping, lightly browned, and saucy, saucy, saucy. Joe liked it right away.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: On the thick side and soft, but with good flavor. Buffalo easy.
- Sauce: They're not shy with it, and they nailed it. Tomatoey, not overpowered by sugar or spices.
- Cheese and pepperoni: Seasoned well. Joe liked the charred up pepperoni pieces.
What would make it better
For Joe, a little thinner.
The verdict
It's a good, solid pizza on the softer side of Buffalo style. Joe gave it a 7.6. If you like your pizza thick with a sauce that isn't too sweet, this will be right up your alley, and for 23 bucks it's a good deal.
