The order
Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni for $24.99. At One Pie, that gets you a half sheet: a rectangle cut into 10 slices, with sauce, cheese and cup and char pepperoni right to the edge.
First bite
It's hot, hotter on Joe's fingers than in his mouth. The sauce is sweet, but Joe called it a sweet sensation, not too sweet.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Sauce: Sweet with a tang to it, and some extra herbs. It's not as clean as the sauces Joe loves most, but he was feeling it.
- Cheese: Plenty of it, and saucy and cheesy in every bite.
- Distribution: Money.
- Pepperoni: Cup and char all the way to the edge.
The verdict
Joe liked this one a lot and called it a good pizza. He went right in the middle with an 8.5, and gave Dave credit for a good call.
