The order
Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni for $27.82. It came with cup and char pepperoni, some grease pooling on top and a thicker outer crust.
First bite
Fresh out of the oven, with tons of cheese and nice dark browning underneath, which Joe likes.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Thin in the middle, almost a crossbreed between New York style and Buffalo style. The thick back crust was a little too thick for Joe. It has good flavor, but a dipping sauce would go well with it.
- Sauce: Not over sweet. More of the tomato comes through.
- Cheese: Fantastic, with lots of greasy goodness and a nice salty flavor.
What would make it better
Bring the sauce, cheese and toppings closer to the edge of the crust.
The verdict
The rest of the pizza was fantastic, and they know how to make a nice greasy wheel here. Joe gave it an 8.2.
