The order
Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $20.08. It came with cup and char, a nice crust on the outside and a sprinkle of herbs. They told Joe they use a deck oven.
First bite
A little browning and bubbling underneath, and a nice cheesy, saucy bite. It's on the thinner side.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Thinner, but not ultra thin like New York. Maybe double that. Joe thought it might be homemade dough, with a light dusting of flour on the bottom.
- Sauce: You can taste the tomato. It's not diluted with sugar.
- Cheese: Good, especially mixed with the sauce. Joe said it's a lot like a Welland pizza, but with better cheese.
- Pepperoni: Cup and char. Joe could use a couple more.
What would make it better
A couple more pepperoni, and a little spice.
