The order
Joe ordered a large 18-inch cheese pepperoni for $17.17, which might be the most affordable pizza he'd had on this side of the border. The cup and char pepperoni was a little sparse in spots.
First bite
It's thinner than most Buffalo pies, almost the thickness of a Niagara Falls pizza, but cheesier. It's thin but soft, with light browning underneath.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: The interesting part. The back crust is crunchy, almost crackery. Joe hadn't seen that on this side of the border and wants someone to tell him how they do it.
- Sauce: Good, the same style as other Buffalo places.
- Cheese: Fantastic.
The verdict
If you like your pizza a little thinner but still with Buffalo flair, this one's for you. Joe gave it a solid 8.1, and what he liked most was the price. At 17 bucks, you can't go wrong.
