Trattoria Aroma is a restaurant on Main Street in Williamsville. A viewer recommended it on review.pizza.
The order
Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni for $19.58. He thought it might be a 12-inch, cut into six slices. The cup and char looked like it was placed with a ruler, about as evenly distributed as Joe has ever seen.
First bite
Medium browning with a touch of flouring underneath, and nice solid flavors. It's not the biggest pizza in the world, but it's a good one.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Thin, cooked nice, with just a touch of gumminess.
- Sauce: Really nice. Joe could taste the tomato flavor, which he said sounds crazy for a tomato sauce, but sometimes places put so much in there that you can't.
- Pepperoni: Solid flavor. Joe almost felt bad taking one because they were so perfectly placed.
What would make it better
If it was bigger.
The verdict
For Joe this is a personal pizza, and it would go fantastic with a gin and tonic. He gave it an 8.4.
