Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni for $22.83. It's not shy on the pepperoni, the distribution is nice, and it looked cooked well.
First bite
The crust is the first thing that screams out. Joe called it money, with a little grease underneath from the pepperoni and cheese giving it extra flavor.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Beautiful, with a nice crunchy back. Joe isn't sure how they do it.
- Sauce: Joe could taste a little herbs.
- Pepperoni: It looks like they slice it themselves, which Joe calls a nice touch. Some pieces got a little dark and crunchy.
What would make it better
Maybe just a little more sauce.
The verdict
Joe had missed the States, and this pie reminded him why. He gave it a 9.0 and called it fantastic.
