The order
Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $25, right on the money. The cup and char pepperoni is a little smaller here, and the sauce runs close to the edge.
First bite
Joe went for the easy slice. The crust is soft, the grease was dripping the way he likes it, and underneath it was lightly browned.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: A little thicker, more like an inner Buffalo pizza even though this is Cheektowaga. Nice flavor, but soft.
- Sauce: Good distribution, and Joe could taste a bit of the herbs.
- Pepperoni: Good flavor, a little greasy but not too greasy. They looked hand cut to Joe.
- Overall: Good distribution of sauce, cheese and pepperoni.
What would make it better
Just a little more cook. Joe liked the ingredients and said more time in the oven would make it fantastic.
The verdict
Roz's has the right ingredients on a classic, thicker Buffalo-style pie. Joe gave it an 8.2 and said a little more cook would push it higher.
