Queen City Kitchen (Buffalo Airport) Review – Cheektowaga, NY
score
Queen City Kitchen is inside Buffalo International Airport. Joe tried it right after a Bocce Club pie at the airport, on his way to Orlando.
The order
Joe got the cheese pepperoni flatbread for $17.93. It came in an interesting package and looked nothing like the picture, but it does have cup and char.
First bite
It was hot out of the oven, and Joe says that makes a big difference, even over better ingredients.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Sauce: Almost like a Ragu, full of herbs and a little sweet. It punches through everything.
- Pepperoni: Cup and char that is really good.
- Cheese: Stringy and half decent, but not as good as Bocce's or other Buffalo cheese.
- Crust: Medium thickness, like a Lunchable. Subpar.
What would make it better
Change the sauce, improve the cheese, and use a better flatbread. Joe says even pre-made ones come better.
The verdict
It's basically an adult-sized Lunchable for on the go. Joe thought he'd like it better than Bocce, but he gave it a 4.9.
