Pizza Plant Italian Pub Review – Williamsville, NY
score
Pizza Plant Italian Pub is on Transit Road in Williamsville. Joe came here right after a long wait at Neat Pizza, so the pie may have sat for a bit.
The order
Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni for $28.38. The cup and char came out charred up and the outer crust was thick. It looked well done, even though he didn't order it that way.
First bite
The bottom didn't match the top. Underneath was only lightly browned, so there was a lot more heat coming from above.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: A lot of bread on the outer crust. It has flavor, but it's dry. The inner part of the slice is better.
- Sauce: Lots and lots of tomato sauce, and it has a good flavor.
- Pepperoni: Joe's favorite part. He liked the crispiness of the charred up cups.
What would make it better
Match the cook all the way around and bring the sauce and cheese out to the edge. Joe also put some of the temperature on Neat Pizza for making him late.
The verdict
Still a good pizza, but the outer crust was a little too much for Joe. It fell just short of a seven at 6.9.
