The order
Joe ordered a large 18-inch cheese pepperoni for $21.69. It had sauce and cheese all the way to the edge, and Joe liked what he saw. Then he went to pull a slice, and there was no cut. He called it one of the worst cuts, and said they definitely need a new cutting utensil. He ended up with a strip of pizza, then rolled it up to make it easier to eat.
First bite
Lightly cooked underneath. Messy, but flavorful.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Thin, and it needed more cook.
- Sauce: Sweet. A sweet, sweet sauce.
- Pepperoni: The charred up pepperoni on the outer edge was one of the best bites. Joe said the regular pepperoni was solid too.
What would make it better
A better cut and a better cook could put this in the eights.
The verdict
Joe liked the way it looked and saw lots of potential. With a poor cut and a light cook, he gave it a 7.2.
