Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni for $24.83. It came with lay flat beef pepperoni and didn't have a lot of weight to it.
First bite
Right out of the gate, Joe liked how thin it is. It's not standard Buffalo pizza. He said it reminded him of high school pizza.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Thin, with light browning, and it looked like it was done on a screen. Good flavor and seasoning, but it needs more cook.
- Sauce: Good, but could use more.
- Pepperoni: Beef, and it actually has good flavor. It would be even better cooked more.
What would make it better
More cook. Joe guessed the oven was running at a lower heat.
The verdict
Without that extra cook, Joe gave it a 7.3. He thinks it has a real shot at the eights, even without pork in the pepperoni.
