Pino's Pizza Review – Orchard Park, NY
score
Pino's Pizza is on Abbott Road in Orchard Park, right next to the stadium where the Buffalo Bills play.
The order
Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $23.38, with cup and char pepperoni. The outer crust looked nicely cooked. The cut was a fail, so Joe ended up pulling a double slice.
First bite
Bad cut, good pizza. Something was instantly different that Joe couldn't put his finger on. He thought it might be the browning of the cheese.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: A nice crunch on the back.
- Sauce: Takes a back seat to the cheese, partly because there isn't a lot of it.
- Cheese: Pretty buttery. It tastes different than a lot of the cheese Joe is used to in Buffalo. He wasn't sure if he liked it better, but it's definitely different.
- Pepperoni: The cup and chars are delicious.
What would make it better
More sauce and a better cut. With a little work it could get into the eights.
The verdict
It's a good pizza, and Joe would have no problem picking one up and walking it right into the game. He gave it a 7.9. Go Bills.
