OP Social Tap and Grille Review – Orchard Park, NY
score
OP Social Tap and Grille is on North Buffalo Road in Orchard Park, just outside of Buffalo.
The order
Joe ordered a large and got a 12-inch pizza, which looks like the only size, for $21.75. It's a little guy, but it came with cup and char pepperoni and good distribution. The cut needed just a touch of help.
First bite
It's a nice little personal pizza with a super thin crust and a healthy amount of cheese. The sauce tasted richer than Joe expected.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Super thin with a light cook underneath, but Joe felt it was a good cook for such a thin pizza.
- Sauce: Rich. Joe was expecting something lighter. It's almost like a tomato paste but not quite. Good seasoning and a nice salty flavor.
- Cheese: A healthy amount.
- Pepperoni: Good.
What would make it better
A better sauce and a better price. At $21 for a little pizza, Joe found the price a bit steep.
The verdict
Joe demolished the slice and said this would go great with a gin and tonic or a tequila soda. He took the score down just a touch for the price and landed on an 8.1. Still solid.
