The order
Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $22.83. It's New York style with lay flat pepperoni, some flour on the outside and an orange greasiness Joe liked the look of. It looked like it came out of a deck oven.
First bite
Light brown underneath, definitely a thin crust, and awesome cheese.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Thin, with a nice punch on the back. There's flouring underneath, a little much for Joe.
- Sauce: Not sweet at all, with a little oregano.
- Pepperoni: Not bad, but not the shining star here.
- Grease: An oily greasiness on top. If you like a greasy pizza, this is good.
The verdict
It's different from what Joe is used to in Buffalo, but the combination of flavors works. Joe gave it a 7.7 and said that's a fair price for a pizza that feeds three.
