The order
Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni, which looked like a 16-inch, for $25.10. The outer crust looked almost like a pie crust, with lay flat pepperoni and a sprinkle of seasoning on top.
First bite
Light to medium browning. The crust is a little different, soft with a bit of chew.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: The back piece has a nice chew, almost like fresh bakery bread. Joe liked it a lot.
- Sauce: Mellow. Not overpowering, not too sweet and not crazy with the herbs.
- Cheese: Beautiful.
- Pepperoni: Some lay flats are good, and this is one of them.
The verdict
It's a little different from what Joe is used to, but it's good, solid pizza. He wasn't sure how to make it better and gave it an 8.0, right on the money.
