Naked City Pizza is on Delaware Avenue in Kenmore. Joe had already tried Naked City in Las Vegas, and a viewer sent him to this one.
The order
Joe asked for a large. They asked if he wanted a full tray or a half tray, and a large is a half tray. It was on special for $15.50.
First bite
Joe went with a corner piece. He still remembers the one he had in Vegas, and he liked this one better.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Cooked nicely with medium light browning, a nice crunch and frico on the outside. The frico bites were Joe's favorite.
- Cheese: Flavorful.
- Pepperoni: Perfect cup and char with a little touch of spice.
What would make it better
More sauce. Joe liked the sauce but wanted more of it.
The verdict
It took everything inside Joe not to go for another slice. Naked City gets an 8.4, and with more sauce Joe said it would be flirting with the nines.
