Muscarella's Pizza Review – Williamsville, NY
score
Muscarella's Pizza is on Main Street in Williamsville. A viewer recommended it on review.pizza. Joe had done a Muscarella's before and even had an owner on his podcast, though he didn't know if this location had the same owner.
The order
Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $22.39. It's cut tavern style, with a little magic dust on top and two plastic tables. And it was done in a conveyor oven. Joe said conveyors get a bad rep, but some places do it right. The cut was pretty good.
First bite
Golden underneath. Joe called it the golden pizza, and said it looked like a Picasso's pizza in round form.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Just over thin, almost flirting with medium. A soft chew, definitely made in house.
- Sauce: Nice and mellow.
- Pepperoni: Generous, and perfectly cooked cup and char. Joe called it money.
- Distribution: On point.
What would make it better
Just a little more crisp.
The verdict
Joe called it delicious and solid. He didn't remember what he scored the other Muscarella's, but he put this one right in the middle at 8.5.
