The order
Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $15.50, a good price. The guy at the counter told him to hold it level because it's so cheesy, and he was right.
First bite
Super cheesy, with nice herbs that come through without overpowering. The cut needed some help.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Over medium to a little thick. Soft, but it tastes fantastic and fresh.
- Sauce: A good amount, with the herbs coming through and just a touch of sweetness.
- Cheese: Joe keeps calling it American cheese. Not the kind Americans know, he means cheese made in America, and it's fantastic.
- Pepperoni: Cup and char that crisps up well.
What would make it better
Don't touch the cheese. Maybe a touch more sauce and a touch more cook.
The verdict
For $15.50, Joe called this fantastic. He went right in the middle at 8.5.
