The order
Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni for $19.10, under 20 bucks. It looked like a 16-inch and came sealed for freshness. It was a little light on the cup and char.
First bite
Nice browning, saucy and cheesy, and Joe could taste the oregano.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Medium, almost thin, and soft. Not super crunchy, but Joe had zero doubt it's homemade, and he called it fantastic.
- Sauce: The herbs shine through. Joe wanted a little more of it.
- Cheese: Phenomenal. The orange greasiness made Joe think it might be a different kind of cheese.
What would make it better
A little more sauce and a little more pepperoni.
The verdict
The crust and cheese stand out big time. As it sits, Joe gave it an 8.1, but he thinks this one has a lot of potential to crank it up.
