First bite
It's a thick slice, more Buffalo style, with cornmeal underneath. Soft, cheesy and smooth down the gullet.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: The hero. It goes from thin to thicker toward the back, soft like pillowy bread. Joe said it's like homemade bread turned into a pizza, with a charred back he loved.
- Sauce: A little light for a crust this thick, but the flavors are bang on.
- Herbs: A little on there. A nice complement, not overpowering.
- Pepperoni: Cup and char.
What would make it better
A little more sauce to balance out the thicker crust.
