Little Caesars Review – Lockport, NY
score
Little Caesars is a big chain, and Joe had never done one in the US. He stopped at the Transit Road location in Lockport, in Niagara County near Buffalo, to see what the chain pizza is like there.
The order
Joe ordered a large 14-inch thin crust cheese pepperoni for $10.25. It's cut tavern style, and it was loaded with pepperoni.
First bite
The slices are literal one biters. A little brown on the outside and a little light underneath. The sauce was the first thing Joe noticed, and not in a good way.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Super thin. The first bite was all the crunchy part and tasted like a cracker. The next bite was a little better. Thin crust is not Joe's style.
- Sauce: Too rich for Joe. He said, as kindly as possible, that for him it was no good.
- Cheese: Actually decent, especially next to the sauce.
- Pepperoni: Not too bad.
What would make it better
Change the sauce. Joe would also go for a different crust next time.
The verdict
For 10 bucks, if Joe was on a budget, he'd suck it up and eat this no problem, just probably not the thin crust. He gave it a 4.5.
