Price$27.73 · Large cheese pepperoni
LocationBuffalo, NY
Leo's Pizzeria is on Seneca Street in Buffalo, and it's a pizza with a lot of crust.
The order
Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $27.73. It has a thick outer crust and cup and char pepperoni, with the distribution a little light in spots.
First bite
It's super cheesy, with the cheese going right underneath. The cook underneath was uneven, and one bite was a little soft.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: The big outer crust is good, with some crunch and some chew inside.
- Sauce: Nice. Not over sweet, tomatoey and not too potent. Joe liked it, but there wasn't enough of it.
- Cheese: Super cheesy.
- Pepperoni: Good cup and char.
What would make it better
More sauce, especially since it's so good, and a little more cook time.
The verdict
It's a good Buffalo pizza. Joe gave Leo's an 8.1.
