Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $16.74. That's a buck an inch. It came with cup and char pepperoni.
First bite
It's a saucy, thin-crust slice that's a little floppy, and the cheese is as good as Joe expects in the States.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: A little thicker and more doughy than other Niagara Falls spots. Seasoned well, but Joe's least favorite part.
- Sauce: Good, with a little more density than some other places.
- Cheese: Excellent.
- Pepperoni: Cup and char that crisps up nicely. A little more spice would be good.
The verdict
Leon's is a decent pizza with sauce, cheese and pepperoni Joe really liked, and a crust he was less sold on. He gave it a 7.8.
