The order
Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $30.52, done in a deck oven. It had some weight to it, cup and char pepperoni and nice grease. It was a little thick, and the cut needed a little help.
First bite
Dark browning underneath and grease dripping. The first bite was nice, cheesy and creamy.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: It goes from thin to thick. The bottom is beautiful. The thicker back has a little seasoning and salt.
- Sauce: Nice, mellow and tame. Not too sweet, with tomato flavor and a little herb. Spread nicely at the front, but light toward the back.
- Cheese: Creamy and delicious.
- Pepperoni: Beautiful, with a slightly thicker cut on the cup and char.
What would make it better
A consistent crust size all the way through, or more sauce on the back. Joe doesn't mind thin or thick. A dipping sauce would also work for the back.
