The order
Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni, which looked like a 16-inch, for $23.14. It looked a little lightly cooked from the top, but they weren't shy with the pepperoni, and the cheese looked nice and white.
First bite
Underneath was light, light, light. But it was super cheesy. Light on the cook, not light on the cheese.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Medium thickness. Missing the crunch on the back side. Joe said it felt almost like a cheese sandwich or a pizza sandwich.
- Sauce: Solid flavor.
- Cheese: A medium layer with super nice flavor. Joe felt it was something extra special.
- Pepperoni: Good.
- Ratios: Joe liked them.
What would make it better
More time in the oven. Joe said he would absolutely love to try this pizza cooked more.
The verdict
The ingredients are good, it was just missing that extra cook time. Joe gave it a 7.2, then joked that he might go back in and see if he could take home a brick of that cheese.
