Jocko's Pizza is on Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls, New York. Joe had a special guest for this one, a local chief of police.
The order
Joe ordered a large 18-inch cheese pepperoni for $22.90. It came with cup and char pepperoni. They didn't need to be asked, which isn't always the case.
First bite
Hot, very saucy and very good. Not too thin, not quite thick, a little thicker on the back side, with a few herbs underneath.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Good, but both Joe and his guest would like it a little more cooked and a little crispier.
- Sauce: A little on the thicker side, a little sweet but not too crazy, with very good flavor.
- Pepperoni: Still good.
What would make it better
A little more cook and a spicier cup and char.
The verdict
His guest said the Niagara Falls bar is high and scored it an 8.7. Joe went a little lower with a solid 8.1. Good, solid stuff.
