Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $22.84. It's heavy, and the cook looked uneven, crispy in one spot and thick in another.
First bite
It's saucy, with some leoparding, and Joe got a great big bite of tomato sauce. It's a Buffalo-style pie in a box, with cup and char.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: A little doughy. Joe expected more crunch on the back.
- Sauce: Great, with a big tomato flavor.
- Cheese: Great.
- Pepperoni: Cup and char that tastes great.
What would make it better
More cook. There were about 12 pizzas in the oven, and Joe wasn't sure if that was a factor.
The verdict
The flavors are all great. The cook held it back. Joe gave Jo Jo's a 7.8 and said Buffalo knows what it's doing.
