The order
Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $21.40. It came with a smaller style of pepperoni, some huge slices and herbs mixed in. The cut needed a little help.
First bite
There's lots of cornmeal on the bottom, which gives it a little extra grip. It's cheesy, and the pepperoni tasted different than Joe was used to.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Joe liked the center more than the back. The back is pretty thick with a little crunch, a dramatic change from the middle.
- Sauce: Nice and mellow.
- Cheese: Great, and dripping.
- Pepperoni: A different flavor, more porky than beefy. It's on the greasy side.
What would make it better
Joe would like to try it a little thinner all the way across, maybe with a different pepperoni.
