The order
Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni. He forgot the receipt, so no price on camera. It's heavy, with lots of lay flat pepperoni and a thick crust.
First bite
The grease was pooling everywhere and the pizza was too hot to handle, so Joe lost a lot of cheese. What he could tell right away is that the sauce is delicious.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Thick on the back but thin in the middle, golden brown underneath, and crunchy on the back side. Joe liked it a lot.
- Sauce: Delicious, with good flavor.
- Cheese: Great, and a lot of it.
- Pepperoni: Lay flat and still good.
What would make it better
Cup and char, especially Joe's favorite spicy brand, would kick it up.
The verdict
In the middle of the review, Joe thought someone was trying to get into his car, so he kept one eye on the lot. The pizza still won. Joe called it fantastic and gave Good Guys an 8.6 before heading out to check on the car.
