Joe has had Franco's before at a different location and remembered liking it. This time they wouldn't take Canadian money, so he had to run around town to get US cash.
The order
Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni and got a tray pizza for $33.40. He didn't clarify and they didn't ask. It's a big one.
First bite
A nice cheese pull. It's cheesy, the sauce is nice and the cup and char still had crunch, even after sitting 10 or 15 minutes while Joe looked for cash.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Nice. Joe says they're in there pumping out a ton of pizza.
- Sauce: Nice.
- Cheese: Cheesy.
- Pepperoni: Cup and char that still had some crunch after sitting.
What would make it better
Number one, customer service. For the pizza, just a little more crisp.
The verdict
The pizza is better than the customer service, that is for sure. Joe figures they're busy enough with a good zaza that they didn't care about changing his money. For 33 bucks you get a ton of pizza, and even as a tray it's solid. Joe gave it an 8.6.
