Franco's Pizza Review – Buffalo, NY
score
Franco's Pizzeria is on Eggert Road in Buffalo. A viewer recommended it on review.pizza.
The order
Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni for $29.99. At some places a large is huge, and this is one of them. It's a great big rectangular pizza, like Picasso's, cut into 18 slices. Joe guessed it weighs about seven or eight pounds.
First bite
Lightly browned and floofy. Joe joked that if he folded two slices together, he'd have a grilled cheese pizza sandwich.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Nice and floofy, and the back bite was soft and nice.
- Sauce: Mellow and not sweet at all.
- Pepperoni: Thick cut and meaty, with some chew. Not really cup and char, maybe a little curl. A little thick for Joe, but the flavor is good.
What would make it better
A little less cheese and a little more sauce to balance it out, and cup and char pepperoni.
The verdict
It's still a solid pizza and still delish. Joe gave it a 7.8, and figured you could feed about 14 people with it.
