The order
Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni for $21.15. It looked like a 16-inch pie, with big slices and cup and char pepperoni to the edge in spots. While he paid, the woman at the counter asked if he was the pizza guy and gave him a free slice of her favorite, the honey garlic chicken, to try too.
First bite
It's hot, with nice browning and some semolina underneath. Saucy and cheesy. Joe said welcome to America.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Fantastic, with nice browning underneath.
- Sauce: A little sweetness, but not a crazy amount. You can taste the tomatoes.
- Cheese: The cheese in the States is what Joe wants.
- Pepperoni: Nice flavor.
The verdict
All the flavors go together, and 21 dollars for all this pizza is a fantastic deal. Joe called it absolutely delicious and gave Favorites an 8.9. Good recommendation, Christina.
