The order
Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $26.80. It came fresh out of the deck oven with nice cup and char pepperoni, a nicely cooked outer crust and plenty of sauce in the middle. The cut needed a little help.
First bite
Nice, saucy and cheesy. Joe said this is Buffalo style, and he was very impressed with the ratios. Underneath had medium browning.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Amazing. One of the best crusts Joe had in a while. He would bet his bottom dollar they make the dough in house.
- Cheese: Fantastic, with really nice flavor and texture. Joe noted it's cheese made in America, not American cheese.
- Toppings: Joe said the rest is like what you'd get at almost any other place in Buffalo, and you can't go wrong with the cup and char.
What would make it better
Maybe just a touch more cook.
The verdict
Joe said this is nice Buffalo style pizza he could get down with anytime. He gave it a solid 8.7, and said that crust is money.
