Diva's Pizza is on Clinton Street in Buffalo, and the pizza is so big Joe said he almost needed three arms.
The order
Joe ordered a large 18-inch cheese pepperoni for $20.70. There's lots of pepperoni and some very big slices, and the cut got things off to a good start.
First bite
The pepperoni has a nice little crunch, and the pizza is cooked nicely underneath. It's a meaty pizza.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Joe liked the thinness and really liked the cook.
- Sauce: Good, but it needs more of it and a more even spread. The saucier bites were the best.
- Cheese: Not as springy as some places, but still good.
- Pepperoni: A good amount, with a nice crunch.
What would make it better
A little more sauce, spread out more evenly.
The verdict
It reminded Joe of Boss Pizza in St. Catharines. At about 20 bucks for an 18-inch pie, it's great value that will feed an army. Joe gave Diva's an 8.2.
