The order
Joe ordered a large cheese pepperoni for $24.99, in what looked like a 16-inch box. It came sealed for freshness with a double plastic table, a good amount of cup and char and a real outer crust.
First bite
Light browning with a little darkening underneath. Joe tasted what he thought might be garlic butter on the crust, with a little sweetness.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Medium thick, starting to flirt with thick, but cooked nicely. The back crust bite is delish. It's not often Joe likes the back better, but he went back for a second bite.
- Sauce: Sweet, but a good sweet.
- Cheese: A nice amount of it.
- Pepperoni: Good.
The verdict
Sweet but not too sweet, cheesy, cooked nicely, with a fantastic outer crust. It's right up the alley of Buffalo style pizza. Joe gave it an 8.3, all for under 25 bucks.
