Deniro's Pizzeria Review – Depew, NY

Deniro's Pizzeria is on George Urban Boulevard in Depew, just outside of Buffalo. A viewer recommended it on review.pizza while Joe was on his Buffalo pizza marathon.
The order
Joe ordered a large 17-inch cheese pepperoni for $18.48, done in a deck oven. It had a sprinkle of pizza magic dust on top and cup and char spread so evenly it looked like they used a ruler. The cut needed a little help.
First bite
Light browning underneath and herb magic going on in the very first bite. Joe nearly had a pizza foul with the slice, but he saved it.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: A little thinner than medium and on the softer side. The outer crust is almost thinner than the inside, and Joe liked those crunchy outer bites. It looked like something like a roller had put dents in the dough.
- Cheese: Great.
- Toppings: The distribution was nice, and Joe liked the sprinkling of magic on top.
What would make it better
A little more cook time and this could hit the nines.
The verdict
Joe said this area has been crushing it, and he didn't think he'd seen a seven since he got there. Deniro's makes a solid pizza and he gave it an 8.6.
