The order
Joe ordered the one-size cheese pepperoni for $15.60. It came with lay flat pepperoni instead of cup and char, and the distribution looked good.
First bite
A nice cheese pull and nice dark coloring underneath. There was a lot of cheese, but that first slice was a little light on the sauce. Joe went for a second slice to give it a fair rating, and that one had more sauce and an even better cheese pull.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Fantastic. Joe called this an artisan style pizza, almost a flatbread.
- Sauce: Delicious where it is. The outer slices just didn't get much, and the corners were a little dry.
- Cheese: Fantastic, and lots of it.
- Pepperoni: Lay flat.
What would make it better
Easy. More sauce, especially toward the outside.
The verdict
Joe called it a fantastic pizza that would pair perfectly with a gin and tonic or a tequila soda. He gave it an 8.2.
