Dandelions Restaurant Review – Williamsville, NY
score
Dandelions Restaurant is on North Forest Road in Williamsville. A viewer recommended it on review.pizza.
The order
Joe ordered a large, but it looks like they only have one size, about 12 inches. It cost $21.75. It looked nice and cheesy, with a parmesan sprinkle on top. Joe ordered for 4:30, picked up right on time, and it was a little cool by the time he dug in, but not cold. The cut was nice.
First bite
Light medium browning underneath. Right away the cheese was fantastic, and whatever was sprinkled on top had nice flavor.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Still good, but with a different, chewy texture. Joe wasn't sure if it was homemade or a couple days old.
- Sauce: A slightly deeper flavor. Joe guessed they maybe cook it a bit.
- Cheese: Fantastic, and one of Joe's favorite parts along with the seasoning on top.
- Pepperoni: Cup and char with a little bit of spice. Joe's favorite part of the pizza.
What would make it better
A little tweak on the sauce and crust would get it into the eights.
The verdict
The crust and sauce pulled it down a bit, but it's still a solid pizza. Joe gave it a 7.4.
