Chick N Pizza Works is on Abbott Road in Buffalo. While Joe was inside, the guy told him they make great chicken too.
The order
Joe ordered a large 18-inch cheese pepperoni for $25.55. It came with a tavern cut and nicely distributed cup and char pepperoni.
First bite
Browning and bubbly lines underneath, and the cheese is so good. This one is cooked nicely.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Cooked nicely, a little soft inside. The back bite wasn't as crunchy as Joe expected, but still really good.
- Sauce: A little less sweet than a lot of Buffalo sauces, and Joe liked that.
- Cheese: Great.
- Pepperoni: Solid cup and char.
What would make it better
Just a little more sauce and a few more pepperoni.
The verdict
The flavors are money. Joe gave it an 8.6 and wants to come back to try the chicken.
