The order
Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $29.80. The pepperoni wasn't quite cup and char, but it looked close, and the distribution was nice.
First bite
Light to medium browning, and a reminder that Joe was back in the Buffalo area with this cheese. Delish.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Just over thin, right between thin and medium. A little crunch on the back.
- Sauce: Good distribution. Joe liked that it's not overpowering and takes a middle seat.
- Cheese: Beautiful, with some salty flavor.
- Pepperoni: Joe called them cousins to the cup and char. Nice flavor, and he said they'd even be good on an Italian sub.
What would make it better
A little more cook and it would rock and roll.
The verdict
Joe said this is almost a cross between a Buffalo pizza and a Welland pizza. Welland meets Buffalo for an 8.7, a fantastic pizza.
