The order
Joe ordered a large 18-inch cheese pepperoni for $19 flat. It came with cup and char pepperoni, nice big slices and a little bubble piece that Joe couldn't resist.
First bite
Hot and cheesy, lightly browned underneath with some dimples and a light flouring. Joe liked the cheese right away, but the sauce fell a little flat.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Joe liked it and the back bite is nice, but it could use a little salt.
- Sauce: A little flat. Joe felt the pizza was missing a layer of depth, maybe from the tomato or maybe from the cheese.
- Cheese: Good, though it could be creamier.
- Pepperoni: Solid cup and char, which Joe always likes.
What would make it better
Joe would love to try this one with a different sauce or cheese, and a little more seasoning and salt.
