Brando's Pizza & Wings is on Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls, New York, and the pizza came out of the box piping hot.
The order
Joe ordered a large 16-inch cheese pepperoni for $21.60. The box came with a piece of tape on it, which Joe took as a seal of approval. Inside, the cup and char was charring up nicely, with good distribution and a good cut.
First bite
Joe lost all the cheese on the first bite, but got a good taste of sauce and crust. It's a medium thickness pie, and super hot. Messy as all heck, but delicious.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Medium thickness with a nice cook and a crispy back side.
- Sauce: Great.
- Cheese: Great.
- Pepperoni: Cup and char that's nice and charred.
What would make it better
Letting it cool a bit more, which Joe says is on him, and a spicy pepperoni.
The verdict
Even with it this hot, Joe could pick out every flavor. Hard to manage, but delicious. Joe gave Brando's an 8.4.
