Bocce Club Pizza (Buffalo Airport) Review – Cheektowaga, NY
score
This was Joe's first Bocce Club pizza from the Buffalo International Airport, on his way to Orlando.
The order
Joe got a 10-inch cheese pepperoni for $18.24, and it had no cuts. It was self-serve touchless checkout, and the pizzas were sitting warm and ready, not made to order. The cup and char was a little sparse.
First bite
For a little 10-inch pie it has some weight to it. It's not too shabby for sitting around, but Joe could tell it had been there at least half an hour, maybe a couple hours.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: A little thicker. It takes the beating from sitting in the warmer, and Joe tried but couldn't tell which pies were fresh.
- Sauce: Slathered on pretty thick, with a mix of warm and cool spots.
- Cheese: Really good.
- Pepperoni: The best part. You can't tell it's been sitting.
What would make it better
Cooked fresh to order, Joe thinks this would score in the eights.
The verdict
It's better than a lot of airport food court options, but on the low end for Bocce in Buffalo. Joe gave it a passing 5.5.
