The order
Joe ordered a large 18-inch pizza for $32.50. It's a square pizza, about 18 by 18, with square cut slices, cup and char pepperoni and a little seasoning on top. Joe said it was like a half tray.
First bite
Joe went for a corner piece with frico on the edge. Right away he tasted the cheese.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Crust: Just above thin to medium, with nice medium browning underneath.
- Sauce: A tint of sweetness with a nice tomato flavor. Not thick and pasty.
- Cheese: "Buffalo knows what they're doing."
- Frico: Joe loves it when the cheese crisps up on the outside like this.
What would make it better
Just a touch more cook.
The verdict
Joe said the friendly staff wouldn't change the score because the pizza was fantastic anyway. It fell just short of the nines at 8.9. Good call, Mark.
