This 7-Eleven is on Ridge Road in Lackawanna, just outside of Buffalo. Joe came on Christmas Day because it was the only place he knew of that serves pizza 365 days a year.
The order
Joe got a Philly cheesesteak pizza, not sure of the size, for $7.92. The cashier gave him $3.49 off for putting in his cell number. Joe noted it was cooked in two or three minutes.
First bite
A checkered pattern underneath with medium to light browning. Joe's reaction to the Philly steak was a quick no.
Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings
- Toppings: Peppers, onions and steak. The flavors didn't do it for Joe.
What would make it better
Probably change all the ingredients.
The verdict
Joe gives them credit for being open on Christmas, and the customer service was good. If you have eight bucks and you're hungry, it will work. The pizza got a 2.5. Merry Christmas.
